Very nice staff. Comfortable room. Good place to stay. Quiet and you can even see some wildlife passing by you if you stay here long enough the raccoons are funny to watch along with deer. I even saw a mink while I stayed here. First time I've ever seen a mink up close.

My experience was great I am big on reviews so I was nervous at first but from beginning to end of my stay nothing but love I am only leaving because I'm moving to Ames i love the location. Its quiet and the atmosphere was perfect for me dont listen to reviews check this out yourself. You do pay a 200$ deposit and thats mailed back to you

Honestly the ladies at the front office are truly amazing and helpful! The place is clean and the other guest are quiet and keep to themselves.

I have lived in this extended stay/studio unit for 1 year and 5 months in the same room the entire time. I notice a lot of reviews are talking about the ceiling tiles in the hall from a few months back and roaches. I'd like to address those from a long term residents point of view. In the middle of summer 2025 we had and unfortunate event occur (small fire) and the entire building was evacuated and vacated for 4 days. It was only a small fire contained to one corner of the building (I think it was an electrical or supply closet) but because their fire suppression system works properly, the power shut off entirely in the whole building. There was no way to turn it back on until the proper dues were assessed by the fire commissioner and he called to have the property vacated for the 3-4 days that it would take to reset our system. During those four days in the hottest part of summer without power to the entire building, yes, some rooms accumulated the start of roaches. They were all babies, tiny little things. It was hot, it was so humid that yeah, the foam packed board type ceiling tiles in the hallways started getting so wet they crumbled. It takes a few days to get an operation like that (replacing every ceiling tile in like a half mile of hallway) going and finished. Within two weeks of coming back they had pest control in every room that reported pest sightings. They came consistently every two weeks and it only took about 5 visits and theyre all gone! They did a very good job tackling that unfortunate situation, that can happen to literally anywhere. They made sure our food lost in our refrigerators was reimbursed and then some. Every year for Christmas I get a little Hyvee gift card under my door from the property owners/staff The flexibility of the studio rates is something that has helped me out many times and as long as you make your payments on time, mind yourself, your belongings/pets/the property and the rules, this place is quite peaceful! If you break something or it stops working, communicate that and just replace it. They are very understanding. Most rooms have a private patio/balcony. Wifi included but it is a massive building so some of the rooms just dont get it as well as others. Make that request when you get here if its something important to you. Before the fire they spent all spring redoing the entire courtyard from a busted concrete yard to a private grass area. They even come change our air filters when we need it. Treat it like your mom's house and be respectful.

I had a great experience here all 4 months. My stay was peaceful, clean & quite Thanks to Tina & the staff. Any questions I had or anything needed Tina was there to answer on the spot. My room was so comfortable &cozy, I almost didn't want to leave!

Tina & the WPR Mgmt Team were kind, accommodating & provided a convenient stay recently for us. We are grateful for their hospitality and appreciated having a team we could communicate with easily with great hours, and always very responsive to our needs. Room was clean & everything worked great. Convenient vending on site. Bike racks avail located inside and additional storage available for those who need. Laundry facilities, washer/dryers top notch and better than most laundromats. Appreciated the technology friendly operation of the washers/dryers w credit cards vs using coins. I think if they added detergent, dryer sheets, and oxiclean packets in a vending machine or have its own in the laundry room, they’d make a fortune. Room access with both a programmed key and a PIN were added conveniences for us. And the online communication of maint requests and being able to pay online were also added conveniences. Tina was what made it so delightful though, she was extra helpful and just consistently our “go to” with anything we needed. You can tell her heart is in it & that’s rare. 10 stars for her:-) 5 stars still for the rest of the property features and accommodations:-)

This is by far the best extended stay around and the cheapest rates I could find. The staff are wonderful and do a great job at keeping the place clean and staying on top of any maintenance issues in a timely manner. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. Tina and Greg are awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Hands down.

Westown is a great place to stay for short or long term. Tina the manager is great she does a great job and enjoys what she does and makes sure all residents are happy and comfortable. I would recommend this to others and the rates are unbeatable . Friendly atmosphere, clean rooms, low rates,close to shopping centers.
